Washing & Drying

We recommend washing your hair extensions prior to installing to ensure they expand to their full potential. Once installed, we recommend washing them every 4-7 days. The longer you can go between washes, the longer your hair will last. Please refer to our website for in-depth recommendations for washing and drying our extensions.

Brushing

Brush your new extensions at least twice a day and always after washing. Use a boar bristle brush or a brush on our website to ensure the integrity of your extensions. 

Sleeping 

Sleep with extensions in a low braid or ponytail with a nylon hair tie or scrunchie like those on our website. Using a silk pillow case or silk bonnet will protect your extensions. Never sleep with wet hair.

Hot Tools

Always use a medium-low temperature and heat protectant. Avoid excessive heat.

Chemicals

The use of chemicals or color are done at your own risk. We recommend not using any lightener or permanent colors on our extensions. If you need to color our extensions, please use a Demi-permenent color or direct dye. You may order custom colors and custom root colors if needed.

Installation

Installing Rays extensions should be done by a licensed cosmetologist and certified extension stylist.

Customer Responsibility

It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the hair and its quality prior to removing it from original packaging. Please reach out to our email to inquire about returns, quality or concerns. Once Extensions are removed from the packaging the hair cannot be returned or replaced for any reason.
